Marnock as Street Art
A timely public art project in Tunbridge Wells shows Marnock at the entrance to Grosvenor and Hilbert Park, one of his final designs.
The street art on the Grosvenor Bridge was produced by Humor Street Art and EKS. It’s part of a larger public realm art project funded under section 106 (the community infrastructure levy) and organised by the Tunbridge Wells Museum with the help of the local community and the Friends of the park.
Thanks to Carolyn Gray, chair of the Friends, for alerting us to the project and providing these photos.
The Friends are holding a guided tour of the Park in the evening of 6 July as part of the Marnock Celebrations, followed by Victorian-themed refreshments. Limited tickets available on the Friends website at £10 per person.
