Opening Times

The Gardens and Pavilions are generally open every day except Christmas Day, December 25th. However, they may be closed occasionally before, during and after major events. Check our events calendar or phone 0114 250 0500 to confirm opening and closing times.

A bell is rung ten minutes before closing time. After that the Gardens will be locked.

  • Summer Opening

    Last Sunday in March to Last Saturday in October.

    • 8.00am - dusk/7.45pm weekdays

    • 8.00am - dusk/7.45pm weekends and bank holidays


    Pavilions

    9.00am - 7.30pm

  • Winter Opening

    Last Sunday in October to last Saturday in March.

    • 8.00am - 3.50pm weekdays

    • 8.00am - 3.50pm weekends and bank holidays

    • Closed 25th December.
