Whether you’re a hobbyist with a keen interest in gardening, or you want to pursue a career in horticulture, tending to our city’s green spaces and stunning landscapes, a horticulture or land-based qualification from The Sheffield College at Sheffield Botanical Gardens could be just the answer.

The Sheffield College's land based department will be working with Botanical Gardens to deliver a Level 2 Horticulture programme specifically for adults. The majority of content is practical and will consist of small assessments that take place during the course delivery by the teaching team. You’ll learn to prepare areas for planting, create seasonal displays and use the appropriate tools.
