Sheffield Botanical Gardens: A Haven for Pleasure and Learning was written to mark two special anniversaries - it is 190 years since Robert Marnock was appointed to design the Gardens and 40 years since the Friends of the Botanical Gardens, Sheffield was formed. The book covers the story of the Gardens from the beginning to the present day and is a high-quality hardback with 160 pages and nearly 200 illustrations (mostly in colour.)

This attractive and informative book is priced at £24.95 with a limited edition of only 130 copies. All proceeds will be used to support the work for the Gardens by the Friends and the Sheffield Botanical Gardens Trust.

The author will be present in the Dorothy Fox Education Centre in the Botanical Gardens at 12.30 pm on December 10th.
